VIPRE, formerly called ThreatTrack Security, develops cybersecurity products. The company is based in Clearwater, Florida, and has operations in Washington D.C., Spain, the UK, and the Philippines.

The company was originally founded in 1994 as Sunbelt Software,[1] which was acquired in 2010 by GFI Software.[2] As of 2017 it concentrates on its VIPRE suite[3] and the company now uses that name. In February 2018 it was acquired by j2 Global.[4]

In 2017, VIPRE earned recognition from AV-Comparatives (one of six "top-rated products")[5], AV-Test[6] and Virus Bulletin.[7]
