Valašská Polanka is a village and municipality (obec) in Vsetín District in the Zlín Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 12.36 square kilometres (4.77 sq mi), and has a population of 1,328.

Valašská Polanka lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south of Vsetín, 25 km (16 mi) east of Zlín, and 274 km (170 mi) east of Prague.
