Valentin Ionuț Costache (Romanian pronunciation: [valenˈtin joˈnut͡s kosˈtace]; born 2 August 1998) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays as a winger or an attacking midfielder for Dinamo București.
Club career
A youth exponent of Dinamo București,[1] he made his senior debut for the Alb-roșii on 20 December 2015 as a 62th-minute substitute in a 1–1 draw with CFR Cluj for the Liga I championship.[2] On 14 February 2016, he netted the only goal of a match against FC Botoșani in the same competition.[3]
Costache was loaned to second division side Afumați for the 2016–17 campaign, managing to score six goals in 23 games all competitions comprised.
On 30 July 2017, he scored his first goal for Dinamo upon return in a 1–0 away victory over defending champions Viitorul Constanța.[4]
