Vandana Rao is a former Indian athlete who represented India in 1984 and 1988 Olympics in 4 × 400 m women relay race. She was awarded Arjuna award by government of India for her achievements. She is married to hockey veteran and former Indian Coach Joaquim Carvalho. She is presently on contract with SOTC, India's premier travel brand as a Tour Manager.
