Vasant Purushottam Kale (Devnagari:वसंत पुरुषोत्तम काळे), popularly known as Va Pu, was Marathi writer who wrote short stories, novels, and biographical sketches.[1] He authored more than 60 books. His well-known books include Partner, Vapurza, Hi Waat Ekatichi, and Thikri.
V.P. Kale was an architect by profession.
He died of heart failure on 27 June 2001 at his home in Mumbai.[2]
