Vasundhara Devi (Tamil: வசுந்தரா தேவி) (1917-1988)[1] was an Indian film actress, trained Bharathanatyam dancer and carnatic singer.[2] Vasundhara Devi is the only Indian actress to have had an audience with the Pope of the Roman Catholic Church. She is the mother of popular Indian actress Vyjayanthimala.[3]
