Ve Interactive is a technology company based in London.[1][2] It employs nearly 1,000 staff in 36 offices across 28 countries, working within 43 territories across 30 languages.[3]

Ve Interactive’s headquarters are based in Clerkenwell.[4] It is part of East London Tech City technology cluster,[5] an area of London known for its technology startups.

In 2014, Ve Interactive's annual turnover was estimated at £20m.[6]

In October 2016 Ve Interactive's valuation was estimated at £1.5 bn despite the fact that the company was loss-making. [7]


History

Ve Interactive was first established in October 2009 as a technology startup company[8] by David J. Brown, a British serial entrepreneur. Since then it has grown quickly and currently serves approximately 10,000 clients whilst tracking around 650 million unique devices per month.

A portion of Ve's growth has been inorganic, acquiring several technology companies. Major acquisitions include:

  • June 2012: Ve acquired Adaptive Consultancy,[9] making Ve’s platform the world’s first eCommerce software to have both remarketing technology and built-in basket-recovery.
  • April 2014: Ve acquired adGenie, a prospecting and retargeting advertising solution provider.[10]
  • November 2014: Ve acquired GDM Digital,[11] an adtech and digital advertising company, for £7 million. All their staff were transferred over to Ve's team.
  • November 2014: Ve acquired Qunb, a Paris-based data visualisation start-up, for $12 million, adding all their staff to Ve's Paris office.
  • December 2015: Ve acquired the Display Retargeting business from eBay Enterprise Marketing Solutions[12]
