velcom and Privet are the trademarks of the second largest cell-phone operator in Belarus, Unitary enterprise velcom (Russian: Унитарное предприятие "Велком"). Its headquarters are located in Minsk.

As of January 2014 velcom has more than 4,95 million subscribers in Belarus.

Its current (as of November 2008) license portfolio covers territory where 96% of Belarusian population reside.

Velcom was founded in 1999 and initially operated GSM-900 network in Minsk area.

Velcom is part of the Telekom Austria Group.

Velcom's main competitor is Mobile TeleSystems.
