Arctic Circle Monument at Vikingen marking the Arctic Circle in Norway

Vikingen Island is a small island in the western part of Rødøy municipality in Nordland, Norway. Vikingen is situated north of the village of Tonnes. The island is notable for having the Arctic Circle pass through it, something that is marked by a small statue with a globe. It is thus possible to view the midnight sun from Vikingen Island.[1][2]
