Vincent Aboubakar (born 22 January 1992 in Yaoundé) is a Cameroonian international football player, who currently plays for Cotonsport Garoua in the Elite One league.

Career

Aboubakar began his career with Cotonsport Garoua and was in summer 2009 promoted to the Elite One league team. On 26 May 2010 signed with FC Valenciennes and left Coton Sport. [2]

International career

On 18 August 2009 was called in the Cameroon national under-20 football team squad for the Francophonie Games in Beirut.[3] He has been called up to the Cameroon 23-man squad for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, and is the only player on the squad who is currently based in Cameroon.[4] At the age of 18, he was one of three youngest players nominated to play in the 2010 World Cup.[5] He made his debut in the Friendly match on 29 May 2010 for the Cameroon national football team against Slovakia national football team.[6] Aboubakar is also part of the Cameroon national football team in the 2010 FIFA World Cup.[7]
