Dr. Viramachaneni Vimla Devi is an Indian parliamentarian.[1]

She was born in 1928 in Varahapatnam, Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh, to K. Pattabiramayya.

She studied at the Rishi Valley School, the Andhra-Christian College, Guntur and later at the Scottish Church College, in Calcutta. Later she graduated with a degree in medicine the Andhra Medical College in Visakhapatnam.

She married Dr. V. V. G. Tilak in 1945. They had one son and a daughter.

She was involved in social work and held the post of vice chairperson of the Eluru Municipality from 1957 to 1960 and also served as municipal councilor of Eluru from 1960.

She was elected to the 3rd Lok Sabha from Eluru constituency as a member of Communist Party of India in 1962.
