The Virginia Beach Theological Seminary is a non-profit theological seminary in the coastal Virginia region of Hampton Roads, offering graduate degrees.

Founded in 1995 as Central Baptist Theological Seminary of Virginia Beach, VBTS recently underwent rebranding and a name change.

The mission of Virginia Beach Theological Seminary is "to contribute positively to the larger body of Christ through the preparation of humble servant-scholars who can rightly divide the authoritative, infallible, inerrant Word of God, and passionately articulate the gospel of the grace of God."[1]

Virginia Beach Theological Seminary has five full-time and two part-time faculty.[2] The seminary offers the following degrees: Master of Divinity,[3] Master of Biblical Studies,[4] Master of Biblical Studies Online Option,[5] Master of Biblical Studies for the Chaplaincy,[6] and Master of Theology.[7] The seminary is accredited by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools.[8]

The seminary has over 150 alumni[9] serving in ministries around the United States and other countries.
