Vladimir Sevastianovich Stepanov (born 1927 Kovgora, Karelian ASSR, Soviet Union) is a former Soviet diplomat and intelligence officer and ambassador to Finland from December 1973 to July 1978.[1]

After coming to home Stepanov was appointed in summer 1979 as first vice-premier of the Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.[citation needed]
