Vlasatice, formerly (and, in German, still) known as Wostitz, is a village and municipality (obec) in the Brno-Country District of the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 22.94 square kilometres (8.86 sq mi), and had a population of 807 as of July 2006.

Vlasatice lies approximately 32 kilometres (20 mi) south of Brno and 197 km (122 mi) south-east of Prague.

Kurt Knispel, the German World War II tank gunner with the most credited tank kills in history, was fatally wounded near Vlasatice and later died due to his wounds in a field hospital in the nearby town of Urbau.
