WAtoday is an online newspaper, focusing its coverage on Perth and Western Australia. It was established on 10 June 2008, and is owned by Fairfax Digital.[1]

WAtoday employs ten journalists in Perth. It was formerly located in the same building as Fairfax Radio 6PR, at 169 Hay Street, Perth, but is now based in Subiaco.

It is in competition with the online services provided by The West Australian.[2] and the News Limited-owned Sunday Times website known as PerthNow [3][4]

Founding editor Roy Fleming left WA Today in October 2012, and is expected to be replaced in early 2013.
