WXJ62 (sometimes referred to as Nome All Hazards) is a NOAA Weather Radio station that serves the Nome Census Area in Alaska (excluding St. Lawrence Island). It is programmed from the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Fairbanks with its transmitter located in Nome. It broadcasts weather and hazard information for the Nome Borough in North Central Alaska. The County Coverage (SAME/FIPS Code) for the area is: 002180.[1][2]
