Waite Field was the original playing surface for Tennessee Volunteers football. It was located on the southeast corner of 15th Street and Cumberland Avenue, where the Walters Life Science Building now stands.[1][2][3] The field also was the home venue for Tennessee Volunteers baseball until 1920, when the program moved to Lower Hudson Field.
