Walther Horn

Walther Hermann Richard Horn (19 October 1871 – 10 July 1939) was a German entomologist who specialised in Coleoptera. He was born in Berlin, where he also died.He is not to be confused with the American entomologist George Henry Horn.

Walther Horn was first a physician then Director of the German Entomological Institute.

Horn's collection World Cicindelidae including larvae Larven and general Coleoptera collections (North Africa (1896), Ceylon (1899), North and South America (1902) and Persian Gulf (1926) are conserved in the German Entomological Institute.
