The Waukesha S.T.E.M. Academy is a charter school located in Waukesha, Wisconsin in the zip code 53186. The school consists of two campuses: the Randall Campus (K-5) and the Saratoga Campus (6-8).[1]The academy's emphasis is STEM curriculum (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) but its mission is to experiment with innovations such as Multi-Age Approaches and Personalized Learning.[2] The Waukesha STEM Academy is a charter school authorized by the Waukesha School District.[3]
The 2016-17 school year is WSA's 7th year, known as STEM 7.0. Multi-age learning groups were introduced in STEM 4.0 in order to enhance the learning environment.
