West Indian cricket team in Pakistan in 1958–59
Appearance
The West Indies cricket team toured Pakistan in February to March 1959 and played a three-match Test series against the Pakistan national cricket team. Pakistan won the Test series 2–1. West Indies were captained by Gerry Alexander and Pakistan by Fazal Mahmood.[1]
Test series summary
- 1st Test at National Stadium, Karachi – Pakistan won by 10 wickets[2]
- 2nd Test at Dacca Stadium, Dacca – Pakistan won by 41 runs[3]
- 3rd Test at Bagh-e-Jinnah, Lahore – West Indies won by an innings and 156 runs[4]
