The western bearded bulbul (Criniger barbatus) is a species of songbird in the Pycnonotidae family. It is found in Angola, Benin, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and Togo. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
