Westerville is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Custer County, Nebraska, United States. It is located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 183 and Nebraska Highway 70. As of the 2010 census it had a population of 39.[1]

History

Westerville was named for James Westervelt, a local storekeeper.[2] The Westerville post office was established in 1882.[3] County fairs were held in Westerville in 1883 and 1884.[4]
