Westshore Terminals is Canada's premier, most technologically-advanced coal export terminal, located in the Metro Vancouver area. With an export capacity of 33 million tones per year, Westshore Terminals handles around 250 ships per year.

The company is publicly-listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the ticker TSX: WTE.

In recent years, the terminal has put up resources to control and monitor the air quality. A 24-hour, real-time monitoring system consisting of two mobile air quality monitoring units (MAMU's) have been installed.[1]

Westshore has installed a dust suppression system designed to operate under high wind conditions, which features 94 ground level rain guns and 17,130 foot high water towers. The new system has significantly enhanced the terminal's dust suppression efforts.[1]
