Whitley Lower, is a parish in Kirklees, West Yorkshire England. It is part of the benefice of Thornhill and Whitley. The parish includes the villages of Whitley and Briestfield. The parish church dedicated to St Mary and St Michael is part of the United Benefice of Thornhill and Whitley.[1]
