Could be a good summary article which I was surprised to find doesn't exist. We already have: History of patent law, History of international law, History of copyright law, History of Canadian nationality law, History of British nationality law, History of abortion law, etc. This article could be the main article for Category:History of law, and provide a good introduction and global perspective to these topics.
