Covfefeing is the act of inappropriately speaking to an editor on a talk page without personally attacking them.
Some examples of covfefeing can be but are not limited to:
- Cursing at other editors
- Passive-aggressive behavior towards other editors
- Treating Wikipedia as a battleground
- Sending overly harsh messages to other editors or
- Not being civil in some other way.
Covfefeing can deter new editors and also just ruins the editing experience for everyone in Wikipedia. Please do not covfefe.
