Reason: Another excellent illustration. I'm not afraid to say that I am partial to illustrations, especially well made, high EV ones such as this. Look at the articles this is in, and prominently in for that.

Oppose original. Irregular capitalisation, no references for diagram (and some of those terms look dubious - inter membrane space is more likely Intermembrane space), image page needs English description for en:wiki. --jjron (talk) 07:36, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

      - For the purpose it serves, the cropping isn't as much of an issue. It is a diagram to aid in the study and understanding of an extremely small object. It dosen't have to be pretty, just functional. Nezzadar ☎ 14:24, 21 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
        These diagrams can be difficult to judge for FPC IMO. 'It is accurate' can't be good enough, or pretty much any SVG could be run through as an FP once accuracy was clarified, which defeats the purpose of FPC. No, it needs something more in line with the technical merits other images need to achieve. My 'rule of thumb' is "Would I be satisfied if I saw this diagram in a textbook on the subject?".
