- Comment - This is not a house fly and doesn't even belong to the same family (Muscidae). It is probably a Lucila sp., commomly known as Greenbottle fly, from the Calliphoridae family. The articles should be revised and corrected if necessary. Alvesgaspar 12:54, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

- I suggest picture peer review as an intermediate between nothing and the full-on criticism of FPC. It's a win-win situation as you are not discouraged by the sterner criticism here and candidacies such as these don't clutter up the FPC page.
