  • Comment: This isn't particularly useful as a depiction of Saladin, as it's a fanciful recreation of him by someone centuries later (and in a very different cultural context). But all the uses of the image are as (merely) an image of Saladin, rather than (say) as part of commentary on this piece of artwork, or depictions of Saladin, or similar.
