Compliance	Users of the Knol service have been known to upload Wikipedia articles in whole or in part. It is possible to release Knol articles under a Wikipedia-compatible license (CC-BY-SA 3.0). In practice, however, most Wikipedia copiers on Knol upload articles using the incompatible CC-BY license and do not bother to credit the original authors via mention of Wikipedia or any other means.
