[edit]how to solve a solids of revolution — Preceding unsigned comment added by Davies Kyle (talk • contribs) 12:53, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
- A solid of revolution is a shape. It is not a problem. There are many problems that involve a solid of revolution, the best known of which are those of determining, given the generating curve with respect to the axis of revolution, the volume and the area of the surface of a section. Formulas are given in the article. Or do you have a different problem? --Lambiam 13:05, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
