Wikipedia:Someone else fix it
This is an essay. It contains the advice or opinions of one or more Wikipedia contributors. The corollary to WP:SOFIXIT is WP:SOMEONEELSEFIXIT
The idea of telling someone WP:SOFIXIT is inherently hypocritical.
Often when someone else says "sofixit" they really mean "someone else fix it." The idea of telling someone else to fix something flies in the face of the voluntary nature of Wikipedia. All work here is WP:NOTREQUIRED. If someone points out a problem, it's not their responsibility to fix it. Those of us that are here in good faith are not paid to be here.
On occasion, WP:SOFIXIT has been invoked in opposition to deletion in deletion discussions or {{prod}}
objections where WP:TNT may be appropriate. The inherent hypocrisy in such actions is self-evident (telling someone else to fix it).
TNT is often appropriate when an article contains nothing useful.
