Digimon species For details about how to fill this, see Template talk:Digimon species.
Insert a short introduction of the Digimon after the infobox, with mention of partner (if pertinent). The first line should clearly state that the creature is fictional and comes from the franchise/anime/whatever is appropriate.
The Japanese name, or alternative name(s) should redirect to the nearest English dubbed name possible. For example, V-mon redirects to Veemon.
Illustrations: If possible, the Infobox should contain a screenshot more than 270px wide, which is then resized to 270px. Official character art are used to illustrate the Data section. Additional screenshots may illustrate specific under "Appearances". If no good official art can be found, cropped card scan may be used to illustrate the Infobox.
Description
[edit]A physical description of the Digimon. This should mention characteristics about voice and any special abilities (such as flight or magic). If the digimon had different colored versions, they should be described here. The description of the X-variant (if any) should be included under this.
Digivolution
[edit]This section presents mainly the complete canon (found in the anime & manga) evolution line. in the following form, omitting any level/information that is not relevant:
* Fresh - link * In-Training - link * Rookie - link * Champion - link * Armor ** Armor (egg) - link * Ultimate - link (+ link) * Mega - link ** Mega - link (+ link)
or
* Hybrid (Rookie) - link * Hybrid (Human) - link * Hybrid (Beast) - link * Hybrid (Fusion) - link * Hybrid (Unified) - link * Hybrid (Mega) - link
For Digimon Frontier Digimon.
(The digimon discussed in the article is not linked, but bolded)
Note that for rookie, higher DNA-evolutions are discussed in the article, but not part of the Infobox. Any alternate (e.g. dark evolution or one-time evolution) form should also be mentioned separately, as well as any specific conditions required for a given digivolution. Additionally, list extra, non-canon evolutions in a separate prose list.
Attacks
[edit]List of attacks with the following format:
- Dub attack (Japanese equivalent): Description/source
Also specify which attack were used in the anime.
Appearances
[edit]Subsections by season
[edit]Movie and CD Drama events should be treated as part of the season they are linked to, but linked to the appropriate article section. Occasions were the digimon made only a passing appearance should be listed under an "other" header in condensed list format with the source linked and in bold.
Normally, only digimon that are part of the season's template should have a section for that season. Otherwise, appearances are listed in bulleted list format directly under "Appearances".
Trivia
[edit]Stuff that can't be fit anywhere else, for example, the discussion about the Myotismon link in Renamon. This section should ideally be a bulleted list.
