Wikipedia:WikiProject Ghost towns/Pre-existing

Some places may be known by another name and have articles already on Wikipedia. Place any suspect articles here (if in need of other opinion. Otherwise create appropriate redirects to or from said pages. A search of Wikipedia is always helpful if it seems like something that may be well-known enough to have another article. Some circumstances where such a situation may arise include any ghost town sites that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places or as Landmarks, in other words having some kind of protected status.
