Interview with EyeSerene

This month, the Bugle interviews EyeSerene. EyeSerene joined Wikipedia in September 2006, and made his first edits to military-related topics the next month. He has taken the lead with developing four featured articles, and served as one of the Military History Wikiproject's coordinators from October 2008 until September 2012. He is also one of the few people to have been awarded the project's highest honour, the WikiChevrons with Oak Leaves, twice.

Thank you for agreeing to answer some of our questions. What areas of military history do you focus on, and why?

Of the articles you've worked on, which are you the most proud of?

What has changed in the Military History Wikiproject during your time as a member? If you could change two things in the project, one in the past and one now, what would you do?

On your user page you state that you served in the British Army. Has this influenced your editing?

Moving outside Milhist for a moment, what has changed in Wikipedia during your time here? Overall, has this been positive, negative, or neutral?

How do you keep your cool if and when discussions become heated? What's your advice to fellow editors for resolving disagreements?

Is there anything else you'd like to add?
