Naming conventions

[edit]

Unless there is more than one community in the state with the same name, the article should always be "Foobar, Oklahoma", whether the community is a city, village, town or unincorporated area. If there is a city or village and a town with the same name located next to each other, the city/village should be "Foobar, Oklahoma" and the town should be "Foobar (town), Oklahoma". If and only if there is more than one town in the state with the same name, the town titles should be "Foobar, County A, Oklahoma" and "Foobar, County B, Oklahoma".

Oklahoma template

[edit]

All towns, cities, counties in Oklahoma should have the template {{Oklahoma}} at the bottom below everything else in the article (including external links, etc).

This still needs to be completed as of January 2011. Narthring (talkcontribs) 03:44, 26 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oklahoma City/Tulsa templates

[edit]

Infobox City template

[edit]

All towns and cities should ultimately make use of the {{Infobox City}} template. Only a couple of cities (like Lawton, OK) actually do this right now.

Appears to be finished for all cities, towns, and CDPs. Narthring (talkcontribs) 03:00, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox County template

[edit]

All counties should ultimately make use of the {{Infobox U.S. County}} template.

Appears to be finished. Narthring (talkcontribs) 03:00, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
