The carrier is controlled by the Central of Georgia Railway Company and the Seaboard Air Line Railway Company, hereinafter referred to as the controlling companies, jointly through equal ownership of the entire outstanding capital stock. On the other hand, the records do not indicate that the carrier controls any common-carrier corporation. The property of the carrier has been operated by the controlling companies for account of the carrier.

CORPORATE HISTORY

The carrier was incorporated August 20, 1916, under the general laws of the State of Georgia for the purpose of constructing a railroad at or near Savannah, Ga. The date of its organization was August 25, 1916.

DEVELOPMENT OF FIXED PHYSICAL PROPERTY

The owned mileage of the carrier, 1.954 miles, was constructed by the controlling companies for the carrier during the year 1916.
