The North Carolina Midland Railroad Company, herein called the North Carolina Midland, is a single-track road wholly within the State of North Carolina, extending from Winston-Salem to Mooresville and connecting with the Southern at each end and at Barber. It embraces 55.570 miles of first main and 7.166 miles of yard and side tracks, a total of 62.736 miles of all tracks.
