Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Peer review/Gothic II: The Night of the Raven

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Reason: I would say that this article is no longer a Stub right now, though it isn't great either. Anyway, since this is my first bigger article, I'd like to know if what I've done up until now is good, if the sources are fine, if the tone is okay, etc. About references, I have my doubts about this reference being reliable. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Diego pmc (talkcontribs)

The image has those tags, and the info requested. Does it need anything else?:\ diego_pmc
  • Titles of video games should always go in italics
  • "Upon its first release, in 2003," - commas not needed
  • Only removed the 1st comma. It sounds odd to me without the 2nd one. diego_pmc
  • I'm not sure if RPGDot is a reliable source. What do you think?
  • Dunno. I'll try to look for better ones, though what I linked was a review. Wouldn't it do, even if it's from RPGDot, if it's a review? diego_pmc
  • The prose could do with some work - read through it and see what you get. I found some stuff like "Being requested so by the community, the developer had rebalanced the difficulty of the whole game, making it harder"
  • "In terms of gameplay, " - not necessary, it's obvious you're talking about that
  • Ref 7 is titled "GamersHell NotR review" - avoid using NoTR, instead, use the full name
  • The article needs sections on reception and gameplay. Some of our GAs and FAs are good examples of what you're looking for.
There already is a gameplay section... As for criticism, there aren't many reviews in English. There are a lot in German however. diego_pmc
Oops, sorry, I meant development. As in, how the game was made, what the developers argued over, etc. My bad. And German reviews could be OK, I guess. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 07:45, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hope this helps! dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 08:05, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
