Limnology is the scientific study of freshwater ecosystems, including lakes, rivers and streams. The course is interdisciplinary, focusing mostly on the biology of lakes, but also incorporating physical and chemical aspects of freshwater ecosystems. I am part of the WikiProject Limnology and Oceanography group.
