ENG 111 is the first semester of a two-semester composition sequence introducing analytical and information literacy skills that lay a foundation for success in all disciplines. ENG 111 introduces and emphasizes rhetorical knowledge (including audience and purpose), invention, and reading/writing processes. This Wikipedia assignment will focus primarily on brief sourcing-focused contributions to wikipedia (finding appropriate, relevant and authoritative sources to substantiate existing claims, possibly some 'gap-filling' contributions involving a few new sentences with a corresponding citation).
