To provide the students with a framework for the study of problems, theories, and principles arising as a result of the financial management of multinational corporations. This environment of international finance changes frequently and extensively creates risks to global, cross-border transactions, and businesses. In general, students will learn about the international aspects of financial decision-making in this fast-changing world, emphasizing the fact that it differs from domestic financial management. In particular, students learn how cross-country governments and central banks seek to influence exchange rates, and how to quantify and manage the risks arising from these shifting exchange rates.
