I consented to donate a small amount of $6 monthly last week when I first saw this notice, which I thought very fair and clearly needed by you to keep providing this valuable service. You sent me a thank you receipt afterward from Katherine Maher to verify this claim. What I think is now needed is some way to give those who want to contribute, or have given, some way to check "already giving" status to eliminate all the distracting repeat popups. "Not now, remind me later" negates the point too, leaving no other options and the result that I can't access the information I am now paying for. All it would take, as I say, is a quick third link saying "already contributed," without which I will feel forced to cancel my gift.
