Who are the Jews? When did their history begin? Through this course you will learn about Jewish history from antiquity to the present day. Every week we will look at a select period or event in Jewish history. We’ll roam the globe, from the Mediterranean to Eastern Europe, from Iran to France. We’ll watch movies, listen to songs, analyse images, deconstruct fairy tales, and read some good scholarship.
