Introduction[edit]

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is offering a student run Wikipedia editing course aimed at getting medical students to improve the quality of medical topics in collaboration with the Wikiproject Medicine foundation.

Course goals:

  1. Edit a medical article on Wikipedia, for example a condition or symptom.
  2. Become comfortable assessing validity of a Wikipedia article.
  3. Quantify how many people are reading the article you are editing.
  4. Presentation summarizing what was accomplished.

Each class will be one hour to 90 minutes and food will be provided! Tuesday, 6:00pm to 7:30pm, Annenberg 12-12
