Zeno's paradox is emphatically NOT about Quantum Physics. It is a purely mathematical construct in a perfect mathematical world that has perfect mathematical continuity. It is a world in which there is NO Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, NO Schrödinger's wave equation for the runner, and MOST DEFINITELY this paradox has no context in a world where Special Relativity is imposed by Lorenz invariance of a finite speed of light. If it did, it would beget many more paradoxes than that of the possibility of motion.

One need not "measure" or "observe" the speed of the runner (nor his momentum or even his position), because it is DEFINED that he runs with a velocity v relative to an idealized ground that needs no friction for him to run, and the runner himself has no mass. One need not quibble about energy fluctuations in the quantum foam of space, because it is defined as a MATHEMATICAL space in which there is no zero point energy nor Kip Thorne's wormholes, which in this context are even more fictional a construct than Zeno's Paradox. 70.106.60.44 21:04, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
