I have to admit, considering the development of the previous discussions, that the chance of rejecting this seems tempting. However, I will offer the other cheek and try this one more time. I will agree to take part in this mediation with a number of conditions (all of them based on existing requirements, explicit or in spirit). And if Lecen breaks those conditions during the mediation, I will leave it immediately.

  • I do not accept mediation for the Platine War article. As pointed by Lecen himself, the discussion took place 3 years ago. There is no ongoing discussion or edits from my part in that article since a very long time ago, so what is there to mediate? Some day I may raise my concerns again, or I may not; but so far there is no discussion to mediate.
  • I do not accept mediation for Historiography of Juan Manuel de Rosas nor Repatriation of Juan Manuel de Rosas's body either. As it can be seen, the talk pages are empty. I do not even know which are Lecen's complaints about those articles. Mediation is completely out of place there.
  • MarshalN20 had never edited the article of Rosas nor its talk page before Lecen raised his concerns. He's an uninvolved user, and per here he does not want to be listed as an involved user. Then, he must be removed.
  • I do not want, for the third time, to have a discussion spreading in all the myriad ways. Only the first point, which is the one that has been under discussion for a consistent time (side topics raised once, replied and then forgotten do not constitute actual discussions). And please reprhase it in a more neutral way, such as "How, and where, should the article Juan Manuel de Rosas mention the different views of Rosas?" Are there more concerns besides that? Fine. Open threads for them, and we shall see what happens. Perhaps I will see that you are correct, perhaps you will see that I'm correct, perhaps we'll find a text that both can be satisfied with, or perhaps it will have to be discussed for months... in any case, each topic warrants its own discussion. General and all-encompassing discussions will never work.
  • I do not want a single comment about me as a user, nor indirect criticism in the form of self-praise rants. Not here, not in talk pages, not anywhere. This includes his sandbox. If I ever commit vandalism, edit warring or whatever, Lecen knows where to report me.
  • I do not want either to see lecen going to the talk page of the users talking here, to try to "explain himself" or discredit the things I say. Everything must be kept within the mediation, and visible in a single place for all the users taking part in it.
  • I have things to do in a place called "real world". I do not want overreactions if I don't reply at the moment. Remember that it was not me who began all those discussions.

Does Lecen agrees with those conditions? A "Yes, I agree" or "No, I do not agree" should be enough Cambalachero (talk) 01:13, 17 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It was MarshalN20 who added Platine War. I agree with your points, feel free to remove the other articles. However, Marshal has to stay out. Or else, Astynax could also "pop in" as a "neutral" editor and that wouldn't make sense. The same goes to Wee Curry Monster. --Lecen (talk) 01:21, 17 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I still don't understand your concept of a "neutral" editor. All editors have a bias, the same as with sources. I also don't understand why you dislike me so much, but that's beside the point. However, I can refrain myself from providing opinions on the discussion if both of you prefer to deal with the dispute yourselves and with the mediator. I hope everything works out good with the two of you. Regards.--MarshalN20 | Talk 01:32, 17 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Ow, my ears are burning. Did someone forget to give me a courtesy message? Wee Curry Monster talk 23:59, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
