Endorsement of need to translate this article

I can read Polish well enough, and know the wartime history of Poland well enough, to judge that the Polish article on the General Government (the rump Nazi state in control of central Poland) is worthy of translation. The level of detail it goes into may be more than most readers will need in an English version, but after some abridgment this would be a fine addition.

There does exist an English-language article on the General Government, rated b-class, which I believe should be largely supplanted by an adaptation from the Polish article whenever the latter becomes available. The current English article has attracted some edits that appear motivated by Polish chauvinism, and the more comprehensive Polish version is authoritative enough to discourage that sort of thing, I would hope.

I wish I had time to take on the translation myself, but I just don't. Also, I have rarely used my Polish in the past decade and so am rather rusty. I would be happy to review the work of others on the translation, and I may be able to furnish references as needed to discussions of the GG in various works of history I have on hand.
