Question[edit]

Hello Haylad, I have a question; Is translation of article from a language to another allowed? Because someone told me no but I see most participants are translating. Em-mustapha 20:11, 21 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi M-Mustapha, This is a tricky question, depends on how you define translation, if you're translating an article without the aid of a language translating software, it is allowed; in the sense that most references are sought from the English media platforms, that way you're translating from one language to another. I also think using a translating software in a very coherent way to get a standardized result is acceptable, in the sense that it serves as a guide, not you copying sheepishly without you checking for the writing intonation and marks. The articles get reviewed by the reviewer and it is meets the existing requirements.

I have a conflicting opinion about it tbh, but in line with the Contest it is preferable not to use a translating software, for your works not to be discredited.Haylad (talk) 10:55, 22 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the reply @Haylad:. I just asked to refresh my thoughts about it. Em-mustapha 15:26, 22 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
