Creating page[edit]
In 2013 the Nobel Prize in Literature was for the first time awarded to a writer of short stories, Alice Munro. And Wikipedia already boosts many articles on short stories, so by now this literary genre might merit its own WikiProject. Opinions welcome. --Jackentasche (talk)
- Hi @Jackentasche: As I mention on you talk page, we already have a community cooperation about short stories at Wikipedia:WikiProject Novels/Short story task force, which certainly needs more help. There is little reason to split into smaller projects, because they often atrophy and die without a critical mass of contributors. I would certainly recommend trying to make the community at the Short Story task force more active, and continue improving short story content, but as of right now I wouldn't recommend creating a new project.
